What’s covered on the day?
This session will cover the theoretical aspects relating to hearing impairment. The training will include a very interactive approach to training with group work and discussions. Participants will be expected to leave the course with the confidence and knowledge to communicate with deaf and hard of hearing clients and staff.
A knowledge assessment will take place at the end of the session, supervised by our Tutor allowing delegates to return to the workplace and put to practice what they have learnt, until deemed competent within their organisations guidelines and protocols. A Certificate of Attendance will also be issued, valid for 3 years.

Understand hearing loss prevention
Examine common misconceptions and assumptions about hearing impairment.
