City & Guilds Confined Spaces (medium risk)

Theoretical and practical training for anybody who enters a confined space, including the use of gas detectors and escape sets. Candidates will be awarded a City & Guilds 6150 Cat 2 (Medium Risk) Certificate on successful completion of both Theory and Practical Evaluation.

CITB Health and Safety Awareness (HSA)

This course is aimed at candidates who are entering or already working in the construction or civil engineering industries. It provides them with understanding and awareness on health, safety and wellbeing. On successfully passing the exam candidates will receive a Construction Skills Health & Safety Awareness Certificate. Candidates can use this certificate, once they have also passed a CITB Health Safety & Environment Operative Test (CSCS test), to apply for their CSCS Labourers card.

New Road and Street Works Act (NRSWA) Operative and Supervisor

This is a competence-based course for operatives and supervisors. It covers the key element in the new Roads and Streetworks Act. All candidates must have previous experience in construction. On completion of the course, candidates will be able to monitor streetworks, excavations and reinstatements to the standards prescribed by City & Guilds and be awarded a SQA Certificate and Streetworks Registration Card.
NRSWA Refresher for Operatives and Supervisors
